In the second week (01-02 June 2024) of the Zimbabwe Premier Volleyball League games held at the University of Zimbabwe grounds came down to a showdown for the match of the week pitting NABA and Black Rhinos the army side. When these two clubs meet, it’s always more than just volleyball! It’s a tale of two giants that dominate the volleyball space, and this encounter always lives to expectation. In early dive, Rhinos cruised to an early win (25-14) of the first set while NABA came back strong to regain control of the match by taking the following 2 sets 20-25; 11-25. The road to victory was cut short by a resurgent army side that then dominated the 4 set 25-17 and cruised to a sweet victory by clinching match decider 15-11.
