DOWN THE MEMORY LANE...

ZVA was founded in May 1981. The initial Executive comprised Ferry Van Der Kaars (President), John T. Mukove (Vice President), Mark Manolios (Secretary General), Paul Nenjarama (Treasurer), Aspinas Mazorodze (Committee Member), Silas Nyabadza (Committee Member), Sam Mamvoto (Committee Member) and Emmanuel Mapokotere (Committee Member)

GOVERNANCE & STRUCTURE

Zimbabwe Volleyball Association is governed by its constitution last amended in 2017. It is governed by the Board of Administration, comprised of 10 members being the 10 provincial Associations and the Executive. The highest board is the Congress which meets every 4 years, represented by 2 delegates with a voting right as long as they are in good standing with the association and as provided for by the ZVA Constitution

BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION

The Board is responsible for the administration and management of the ZVA. It handles urgent and exceptional situations in the spirit of the ZVA Constitution and in the general interest of the ZVA.
